Bjorn Staerk has posted his thoughts on how to fight the Islamist threat in Europe, including his own country of Norway. He is, as always, calm but clear in understanding that the burden of preventing Muslim terror must fall on Muslim nonterrorists. It is from every perspective a moral decision, despite the beliefs of the jihadists and the “clash of civilization” types, both of whom argue, to the same effect, that moral choice is impossible within Islam.
Bjorn, who has a grownup’s impatience with infantile ideas, will have nothing to do with this position:
I don’t care about what “real” Islam is, only about good and evil Islam. Both exist, and to claim that Muslims are unable to choose good over evil is a determinism that has no root in reality.
